Rıza Kutlu IŞIK
Rıza Kutlu Işık was born in 25 February 1963 in Bartın. He completed his high school education at Northfield Mount Hermon (USA), and afterwards he graduated form the Bosphorus University Economics Faculty.
Rıza Kutlu IŞIK is the chairman and CEO Işıklar Holding Company, and of all the Işıklar Group Companies.
At the same time, Mr. IŞIK is the chairman of Turgut Isık Foundation and TISK Microsurgery and Reconstruction Foundation and Turkish Cellulose, Paper and Paper Products Industry Employers Union.
Mr. IŞIK is married with three children. He speaks English, and French.
TISK Microsurgery and Reconstruction Foundation
TİSK Microsurgery and Reconstruction Foundation was founded on 12 July 1985 in order to treat patients, and to educate surgeons, to support, and to improve scientific research, and to maintain the foundation of new centers in this area of medicine that is based on the highest standards of technology.
The TISK Microsurgery and Reconstruction Foundation Hospital was planned to serve in this aspect, and the construction of the building began on 23 November 1993 by the President of the day, Süleyman Demirel in Istanbul.
The construction of the Hospital was completed, and the building was rented to a significant group of hospitals by the Executive Committee of the Foundation for 19 years.
TISK Microsurgery and Reconstruction Foundation supports the Hand Surgery and Basic Microsurgery education of the young surgeons.…
The president of the Executive Committee of TISK Microsurgery and Reconstruction Foundation, Rıza Kutlu Işık handed over four laboratory education microscopes (Zeiss) (80.000 EURO+VAT), and microsurgical instruments (10.000 EURO+VAT) on 15 January 2013 to the correspondents of the Reconstructive Microsurgery Society. He bought these items in the name of the Foundation, and in order to respond to the demands of the Society. The goal of the Foundation was to give support to the Basic Microsurgery Courses that are organised by the Reconstructive Microsurgery Society (www.turkrmcd.org).

During 2013, ten surgeons among the candidates who want to participate in the Basic Microsurgery Courses organised by the Reconstructive Microsurgery Society will be chosen by the Emergency Hand Care and Microsurgery Society. The course registration fees of these 10 surgeons (2000.00 TL for each individual) will be covered by the Foundation.
The increasing demand for the microsurgery education can not be answered with national means. The basic microsurgical training options were evaluated internationally, and the Microsurgery Course of Zurich was chosen. The foundation will cover the fees of two candidates for December 2012, and 24 candidates (2 surgeons per month) for the year 2013. The course registration fee of each individual (1000 Swiss Franks; approximately 2000.00 TL), and the accommodation fee for six nights (approximately 2000.00 TL), a total of 4000.00 TL will be covered by the Foundation.

The yearly online membership of the Microsurgery Journal, and the Journal of Hand Surgery will be available at www.acelemder.com address for free for the members of our society. The membership fees of both of the journals will be covered by the Foundation.
