MESSAGE OF THE PRESIDENT
Dear Colleagues,
In 2012, our esteemed mentor Prof. Dr. Türker Özkan founded our association with the aim of enhancing and developing occupational health and safety, first aid, burn and limb injury prevention, as well as promoting Hand Surgery and Microsurgery activities in our country. The goal was to foster solidarity, scientific and social collaboration among individuals and organizations from various disciplines working in these fields, support those working in this area, and raise awareness.
Since its establishment, I have endeavored to serve in various administrative capacities within the association. During this time, I witnessed how the activities carried out contributed significantly to healthcare professionals dedicated to Hand Surgery and Microsurgery across the country, as well as to the patients awaiting services.
Having assumed the presidency at the ordinary general assembly held on June 10, 2023, my greatest wish is to elevate this association to even greater heights in line with the aforementioned objectives.
I believe, and hope, that with the support of my esteemed colleagues on the new board of directors and our dedicated members, we will achieve this.
