The Emergency Hand Care and Microsurgery Society has organized the “International Congress of Occupational Accidents, Hand Injuries and Extremity Amputations” with the contributions of TISK Microsurgery and Reconstruction Foundation. The Congress has been held on

Thirteen International Faculty (Alexandru Georgescu, Arnold Schuurman, Bruno Battiston, Esther Vögelin, Grey Giddins, Kağan Özer, Lars Dahlin, Massimo Ceruso, Pierluigi Tos, Rado Zic, Ton A.R. Schreuders, Tuna Özyürekoğlu, Zsolt Szabo) shared their valuable experience in 8 conferences. Seventy two free papers were presented and a round table meeting was organized for SPY applications. A total of 250 practitioners and physiotherapists attended the International Congress.

Louis, Dean 5/17/1936 - 6/16/2019 Ann Arbor Dr. Dean S Louis, age 83, of Ann Arbor, Michigan passed away peacefully on June 16, 2019 at the University of Michigan Hospital, Ann Arbor where he worked as an orthopedic surgeon and educator for 44 years. Dean Sherwood Louis was born in Dayton, Ohio and attended Shaw High School in Cleveland. He went on to earn a bachelor's degree from the University of New Hampshire. The "12th Triennial Congress of the International Federation of Societies for Surgery of the Hand Surgery” which is organised once in three years was held on 4-8 March 2013 at New Delhi, India. On 4 March 2013, during the awards ceremony, the prestige award of the Federation “IFSSH Pioneers of Hand Surgery”, Award was given to our teacher Prof.Dr. Ayan Gülgönen.
